About the Amazon Visa

There are an abundance of credit cards with special offers available today. However, many of these cards have rewards that are difficult to earn or only can be redeemed for small tokens. For many people, the Amazon credit card is a great way to earn rewards fast. This card is offered by Chase and offers an up-front reward of $30 for signing up and has no annual fee.

The credit card holder will then earn points for each dollar spent on the card based on where the money is spent. All purchases on Amazon will earn three points per dollar, purchases at gas stations, restaurants and drugstores earn two points per dollar, and all other dollars spent earn one point. Instead of redeeming the points for useless items like waffle irons or cheap luggage sets, they can be redeemed for purchases from Amazon. Every 100 points can be redeemed for $1 off a purchase. For someone who does a good deal of shopping on Amazon using this card can usually earn approximately a 3% rebate on every single purchase.

Unlike many other cards, there are very few restrictions when redeeming points online. For instance, you can choose exactly how many or few points to redeem on a given purchase. There is no minimum or maximum for the number of points that can be redeemed. Your points can even be redeemed to purchase items that are on sale or combine them with other special Amazon offers.
